My Attak is way too loose ( up and down/side to side) on the front end.Cross country riding in crusty snow conditions your not sure if the front end is going to dip or dive and which way.Under gas it is O.K. but slow running it wants to fall on its corners.Feels like it has no stab. bar at all.Very wild ride on front end.Use both hands and hang on.It seems to just pull the handle bars out of your hands in those conditions.I'm thinking a stiffer stab. rod might marry the two skis together better.Anyone sell 13mm rods in Canada?? Anyone else find this condition.I'm riding in stubble fields with 5" of granular snow on bottom and 1 1/2" crust on top.It is bad enough that I doubt I would want to go on long cross country ride it would play you out just trying to hold on and figure out which way it is going to flip up or dip down.

Been messing wilth your supension? Sounds like there is more then just a ski problem. Might want to adjust the transfer rod to see if it makes a difference in the ride.

Set the transfer rod to min, don't you have set @ max. Buying a bigger stabilzer is not going to do a thing for that type of riding. You need to get the front end down.

The sled handles better under power when the skis have less pressure on them so I doubt setting the trans. rod to min. would help.I've tried it in various positions and the sled still seems real tippy on the front.NOW I did loosen up the front shock springs quite a bit, maybe that might cause more roll.Just wonder if anyone has tried 13mm stab bars, and what diff there is.When the front end is down it dips into the crust and wants to sway hard in that direction.

Sounds like your steering post is loose.

I road one with a 13mm bar and it made my hands numb from the vibrations from the front end!!! This was on an attack
I didn't like it and i wouldn't recommend it.
On the flip side I have an attack with Slydog skis. the front shocks are in the stock position. I have the limiter strap pulled up 2 holes from stock. the Big Boy spring with the C clip in the second position and zero turns on the spring adjuster. The Tunnel adjuster is to full soft.
My sled has zero inside ski lift!!!!!

How does it come out of the hole set that way? Mine spins hard even with the limiter all the way out.No transfer. But maybe I should try it one hole up.

What kind of traction are you running? Mine comes out hard.

Just running the ripsaw 1 1/4, no studs needed where we ride.No one here runs studs and all come off the line ahead of my Attak,Even 600's.This is in 8" of snow not a trail or track. The ripsaw will be the first thing to go next year if I keep the Attak. 1 1/2" predator or something that pulls snow will replace it.

Dirk, where is your transfer rod set? MY Attak is set up:Front springs 2 turns soft, limiter in middle(3hole),transfer rod stock(middle),rear shock middle clip 1st position on adjuster. RA 3 positions from full soft. Works great for all around riding. Only thing that could be better is out of the hole traction. Running Ice ripper track. studdog
