Agreed

The std DX shocks are the least expensive, but happen to have the softest calibration which makes them popular, but a premium shock will handle a wider variety of terrains and not fade like the lesser units.
 
Thankfully I have not had bump run long enough to experience shock fade or big enough to bottom. Maybe I am just getting to OLD to push to the limits LOL
