15 Viper MTX 153 blue/white
Got the ok from the wife to get what ever turbo I want this summer for my 15 Viper MTX 153. My top 2 are MCX or the EVO. Ride mostly 1000 to 5500 ft. So what would be your choice?

Having worked with both vendors in the past, EVO hands down. My opinion of course formed by costing me money.

I just love how the mcx just works year after year. I have the 270 mcx kit on my nytro and i love it I know its not a viper but its the same engine tho.

not sure on how much of a do it yourselfer you are but hurricane has a very solid kit for less coin. and now the have a high elevation program and a cold air intake through the hood that is slick. would be worth a call in my opinion. dave has great customer service. i have his flat land kit and love it with zero issues.

I would also go with the hurricane kit it only took one phone call to Dave and with what he said about his kit i bought it the next day. his costumer service in top notch and he fully stands behind what he sells. I have only bought the kit i have no riding experience but with all the reviews on this site it is one of the best kits and looks like a factory product. and like tator said if you are planning to put the kit on yourself the hurricane is the easiest to put on Dave says it will take you about 4 hours to install and all the reviews have supported it. Dave has 190,240,and 400 hp kits.

we have been in the mountains with Darren@E&S motorcycles tuning the Hurricane turbo kits. The 190 kit was already close in elevation tune but I spent a lot of time tuning the 240hp kit. This kit spools instantly and is now tuned spot on through out the elevation. We also tune the 400hp kit boosting our Hurricane stroked engine with stage 2 head kit. That sled is an animal
We have cold air intake available as well as elevation clutching.E&S motorcycles are western distributors for Hurricane Products to provide top notch support after sales in the west

Kind of slow in this section so I thought I would give a update. I want to thank every one for there help and opinions but I went against the majority and ordered the Evo system. Got my first box the other day and expecting the rest any time now. Hopefully some of us Alaska guys can get out and compare this winter ( providing work and the weather coroperates ). I will try to post some pics as I do the install. Fred

Yeah I would be up for a ride and compare in Cantwell MPI vs Evo. Are you doing the Evo 190hp or are you going bigger. Looking forward to seeing pics of the project.
Were you the one that also did the Skins low profile seat?

It has a dual map 210 on 91 premium or 270 plus on 100LL. Yes I posted pics of my Skinz seat on Snowest. There pricey but really nice. Fred

Well I got back from working up north and got to take a look at all my EVO parts.
I ordered the EVO turbo also, waiting for it.

Spent alot time reading the directions. There are a lot of parts and modifications that need to be made. This is my first turbo install on any thing so expecting to take a couple days to do the install.. Started by removing the side panels, hood and fuel tank.. This kit requires head studs but no head shim so this will be my starting point. I am able to replace the head bolts one at a time with studs. The directions sent from EVO are specific and give all the specs with pictures. Did run into a minor set back as I only got 6 studs instead of the 8 required. Called and talked with Jim at EVO and got them coming ( EVO is very easy to get in contact with and very helpful ).
