Which Turbo to get?

This got me thinking. When you say heat issues, do that me performance issues or engine temp issues.

One of my buddies has a 14 viper no turbo and he is after having engine temp issues, to the point it shut down six times. He was riding with 5 other yamaha 4 stroke sleds and none of them had heat issues that day.

I wouldn't want to create more heat with a non inter cooled turbo

This is the exact thing the guys I've talked to had said, the non innercooled kits I'm sure work and work fine but like Matt stated, the inner cooler takes out 60-90 degrees of temp..without an inner cooler that is some seriously hot air going into the engine. For the money invested in the turbo kit I'd much rather spend the extra money and get the inner cooler..because of the lower elevation and that hot air going into the engine without an inner cooler I'd say the chances of detonation would obviously be greater than a kit with an inner cooler. I can say 100% from past experience that engine detonation is something I NEVER wanna experience again lol live and learn.
