Who does the best revalving / rebuilding of shocks?

Hey guys,

It is time for me to have my rear Ohlins monoshock serviced again and at 6K miles my front GYTR shocks are way overdue for their first servicing.

At 3K miles I went with Carver on the monoshock and I was happy with the results. However I am wondering if there is a better place than Carver.

I am looking for feedback (good & bad) on the other vendors that offer revalving / rebuilding of the Ohlins & GYTR shocks

For just a rebuild, I use Pioneer because he's very well priced. For any extra modifications we've had best results with Hygear. I think for just a rebuild, any qualified shock center will do. But I swear by Hygear on revalves & upgrades...

My only tip is best to call to get an expectation of turn around time before sending it.

I got my Ohlins mono redone and revalved by Frank at Shocktec in Ontario. Quick turnaround (10 days) considering I live over 1000 miles away in stickville, N.Saskatchewan, really good job and easy to talk with on the phone. He'll set your shock up for your personal riding style, weight, etc. I went for 1st ride last night and machine felt like it rode better than when new. $80.00 plus shipping.

I called Bruce at Pioneer this morning and he was very helpful answering my questions. He will be able to turn them around in less than a week so I will be sending my front and rear shocks to him today.

Bruce has done a couple of revalves for me and does an excellent job, you will be happy with your choice.

I sent my rear to Bruce and he was fast. I havnt been able to ride the sled yet but im sure its better then when I sent it to him.

After talking to bruce on the phone I knew where to send mine. After two seasons shocks still feel great.
