Blue Dave said:Hey guys,
It is time for me to have my rear Ohlins monoshock serviced again and at 6K miles my front GYTR shocks are way overdue for their first servicing.
At 3K miles I went with Carver on the monoshock and I was happy with the results. However I am wondering if there is a better place than Carver.
I am looking for feedback (good & bad) on the other vendors that offer revalving / rebuilding of the Ohlins & GYTR shocks
Blue Dave,
I see you are in Ham Lake. The best guy in the state is Bruce from B-Line Control in Lindstrom,MN... IMHO. I just had my Viper shocks done there and a few people I know that are insiders in the snomo-industry around here swear by Bruce. He used to do Nathan Titus's sleds 10+ yrs ago and is now the suspension guy for the Boss Racing Snowcross team. He's been around and knows his stuff. He also used to do stuff for Jack Struthers former multiple I-500 champ. His phone # is 651-257-0828, he's open until 6PM during the weekdays.
Take my word!! He's the best around here!! He takes your rider weight, wants to know how and what type of riding you do.....sets the shocks up for you. Each shock will come with a sticker that has the specs all down on it when finished and he keeps your info on file. My buddies old SRX rode better than ever last season after Bruce did all 4 shocks.

Thanks Journeyman,
Too bad that I did not know about B-Line before I shipped my shocks to Pioneer. It certainly would have saved me some shipping costs since I am about a half hour drive from Lindstrom.

Bruce Schrader at Pioneer is a great guy too and he does good work. I have dealt with him person in the past at Haydays.
