Who has the lightest RX mnt? Make me keep my '03

I bought an RX1 mnt last year and the first two rides I loved it. I put an Apex seat and skis and a Hartman tunnel extension on it before I even rode it. Then some thing went wrong with the secondary I believe because the sled would build a lot of RPMs quickly and just dig a hole everywhere. Very frustrating to say the least. After everybody making fun of me for weeks after I ran out and bought a '06 Polaris FST Switchback. Same weight but feels half as heavy. I loved that sled, but now I must sell because my wife quit her job, so now I am back to the RX1 which has been collecting dust for nine months. I put a Wild child kit on it over the summer because it took him like three months to get the kit to me and by then I was riding the Polaris and loving it. I am kind of a tree hugger and do not want to go back to 2 stroke, so please help me love my RX1.

I think mine will be one of the lightest around here atleat. Just shaved a load off of it just in suspension and track.

Read through the kachess post and some others. Do several, searchs the info out there is (mostly) good. The RX can still be a awesome machine

Will never be as nimble a let say... a 2008 rmk for example.

but, mine including the supercharger (twin screw and pretty heavy.....)

Mine is 665# full of gaz.


Or about 100# LESS than when it was bone stock.
