no the show is decreasing from what me and a few others have observed, i think the price for booths is factor there my dad went with my cousin on friday and told me not to bother unless there was something i really needed plus it's 9 bucks to get in come on what's with that

- None, looking now!
I thought it was thinner than before. Yeah, I agree on the money thing. It was pretty crazy. 5 bucks to park, 9 bucks to get in and 5.50 for a "DRAFT" beer. WOW.
But, I payed it all. And drank quite a few beers. I had a good time and picked up a few things. I just basically went to hang out with a few people, not so much for the show.
It was great to see you all once again and awesome to meet some new people.

It does seem to be losing its luster.
Pretty much the same stuff every year.
If there is something you really want cheaper, then it is the place to go.
2+ hours each way for me, but we make a family weekend out of it, and get pumpkins in Mukwango, and hang out and enjoy the weekend together around Milwaukee.
This year was exceptional!
As far as prices for admission, It is getting ridiculous.
$9 this year, up another $1 from last and another from the year prior.
$18 for my wife and I to get in before I even get to spend money! Pay money to spend money? Not that much anyways!
Also, if you think the beer was high, we bought 2 sodas of the kids, $3.50 EACH!!!!!! WHATTTT???
Got the kids each a soda, and that was all.
$7 for 2 20oz bottles of sodas is sick.
Glad we stopped and ate at the OMEGA before we went.
Only real reason I went this year was to see a NYTRO in person before I was to buy one.
May not go again next year.
We'll see then.

I agree the shows are getting worse because they are driving the vendors away with the booth price's.And all the non-snowmobile junk there. The prices you guys listed for drinks thats just insane. They dont realize their greed is going to turn people and business's away.Another kicker is even after a business spends thousands for a booth they still charge you parking.

funny thing is the stuff there isnt that cheap.. i got a good deal on a pair of FXR gloves $20... but most of the stuff was listed at retail prices.. hell i can beat that on ebay..

Yeah I kinda agree with that.
Like anything, you really have to do your homework on what you buy and dont.
Know prices going in.
Kinda like going to a Sam's Club.
Some things cheap, alot that isnt.

You know I still look forward to it every year though. $20 for a couple dogs and a pair of Leine's is really no worse than at a football game or what have you but I hate to see them pushing vendors away every year by outarageous prices for booth space. I'll continue to drive the 1 & 1/2 hours and pay the $14 entrance fee just because I love to see the new iron and its still the best place to at least try on the gear for sizing purposes. I guess the convenience comes with the wasted bread but my brother asked if he could get a tiny, little, (empty mind you) plastic cheese-sauce cup to put some ketchup in for his fries and witch behind the counter said "for a $1"!!! Now that is rediculous!

Agree, getting smaller every year. Dwindling attendance is driven by the high cost of sledding in my opinion. The old days of the Milwaukee show in the old seperate halls were the best. Many performance shops. Even AAEN wasn't there this year and he's just down the road. Grayslake was cancelled because of poor attendance. I don't see this trend changing. Sledding is quickly becoming a rich mans sport.

The Grayslake show being cancled was also due to the property being sold..
The fair is going to be moved.
There is a small show but getting larger every year out in Boone county.
It does seem the snow shows are getting smaller and smaller.. Bummer
