One of my ridding buddies has a 07 Attak with 5600miles
He has changed the Hyfax once and the carbides once. And a couple of oil changes.
No bearings, or wheels.
He just replaced his original belt(wow) and did the doughnuts, they were showing no signs of wear.
I have not been that lucky, but pretty close.

I know it sucks to have to put alot of money into a sled, how about letting us know what types of issues you've had to deal with. Keep it positive here, and everyone will gladly help! 8k sounds like alot! Was any of that modifications, and were there issues with any of those?
Mostly repairs, mostly suspension. No mods other than mountain skis and chromo a-arms. Don't get me wrong, I've received tons of help from this sight and am very appreciative of the fact that because of this sight my expenses have been parts and not labour. I just wish I didn't have to use you guys as much as I do.

7200 Hard rough trail miles on my 07 RTX. Here is the list:
2 sets of donuts and y pipes
2 sets of hyfax
2 belts
1 idler wheel
1 track
1 jackshaft bearing
1 set of A arm bushings
I dont think this is to bad. I have friends with less miles than this on their skidoo's with blown motors, and friends with cats who have half the miles with blown Diamond drives!

6100 miles on my '07 rtx i replaced the track, centre idler wheel every 1000 miles, hyfax once, exhaust donuts, front a arm bushings(with metal one from allen).
did a mentioned that hand warmers suck. it's true that they do need some maintenance but at least we never stall in the middle of nowhere with a broken engine like other brands.

Only 3,500 miles on our two 07 Attak GT's untill first issues. Not too bad I guess, but not as good as my previous two '00 SXr's. First issue with those was at 10,000 miles.

Lol, I broke my first W-arm at 10,000 miles, that was the first issue I had with either one of them. Also says how I dont beat my suspensions if it lasted that long, relating to my posts in the cracked rail thread.
The other SXr is still in our group, sold it to a friend, still hasn't had any issues with it. It's prolly got about 12,000 miles on it. Original track too, put new clips on it for him.
I sold my SXr with 13,000 miles on it without ever touching the engine once. Still had great compression and purred like a kitten.
