Over the years many have asked me why I love to snowmobile so much. Lately I've begun to ask myself that same question.

I decided to begin making a list, I know it's still very short, but it's a start. I've made a photo album on Facebook of my personal reasons for loving the sport. Feel free to check it out, like, comment, or share your personal reasons as well to help my own brainstorming!

Nice pics! Is that a yamaha graphic kit from yamaha on your nytro?

I don,t boat any more, so I need another sport where I can dump money into a white snow hole, instead of water. Actually the real reasons I love snowmobiling is because of the comradery with being out with a bunch of guys, sharing half truths and listening to guys tell the same story with a few different slants on it, and I love the feeling of acceleration I get when I,m hustling across a nice long field.

Everybody asks me why I snowmobile instead of getting a quad and using it all year long. Well, first off, the exhilaration is just not there on a quad. Second, quads just make a lot of mud and snowmobiles leave nothing behind after the snow melts. Third, there's nothing like floating on some fresh pow. Fourth, no quad trails around here. I have a snowmobile trail practically out my door. And finally, I just love spending time with my family going places that no quad could ever go.

LOVE the adrenaline rush of flying down a lake, river or any straitaway and jumping ditches . Riding with freinds and all the bull$hiting that goes with it ! 4 wheelin is fun but not even close to snomobiling !

AMEN BROTHER!

I don't know how many times I have heard "I never realized how fast they are!" you can't get that kind of exhilaration on a quad. Not that it's not fun it's just different.

Riding over land and water on one machine that takes you to amazing places you can't get to in the summer is pretty awesome in itself. Not to mention those days that are super clear and sunny when you can see everything for miles. There's nothin like havin a good snowmobile.

I would like to add to this but you all said exactly what I was thinking.....especially the quad verses sled thing.

I have 2 quads and 2 sleds, the quads are fun for hunting and some trail riding but with all the dust we eat,it takes some fun out of it,nothing matches the thrill of sledding, the power, the places you see in winter, cant beat it
