Are we not allowed to ask valid questions regarding other brands on here? The questions was legit and I was not trolling. I was curious what others think before I jump in. Lots of riders on here have been on the Ski Doo Renegade 1200 and I was interested in hearing their thoughts.
Man, did not realize we HAD TO just speak on one brand.....that is nuts! Next thing you know you are going to require a Yamaha tattoo on your forearm to post any questions on here.

My guess is wrong forum. There is a forum for "Head to Head" under the General Area that would probably be ok to post to. If you are asking about a 1200 Gade, its probably not considered "General Yamaha Discussion"

Stu is correct! I didn't move it,but I found your post in the Lounge.
Thanks Viper. I found it.
Funny thing is, it is not a head to head thing. I have been in that forum and all it is is my tool is bigger than your tool blah, blah, blah. I could care less how fast it is and all that other crap that goes with it. Could care less if I can MATCH UP with other sleds.
It seemed that this forum gets the most knowledgeable readers/viewers.
All I was looking for was first hand experience from those that have run that sled out west and what their thoughts were. I have a 14 year old boy who I want to take out west next Spring Break. Since he can not rent till he is older, I want to bring a sled he can ride, the Ski-Doo. I would rent one for myself or maybe by that time, I would pick up another cross over sled we could take. It is a big purchase and I want to make sure we make the best choice with as much information form others that we can get.
I have looked at the XTX and I have ridden on. I really did not enjoy the 600 pound sled and don't want to put all my eggs in that basket. I like my Nytro 121 for the trails in MN and plan on keeping one of them.
Sorry about "breaking" the rules.

If I was buying a sled right now, it would be a Doo Gade 1200. Very nice sled. Light, nimble and sneaky fast
