She lost it on a bad down hill sharp iced turn. The sled spun 360 deg. (no studs) she was thrown off. She's fine as she was going slow then rolled over and back on it's feet then down the side of the hill. We used my Highlifter and Warn SnoWinch to get it back on the trail and drove it home.
Motor runs good no codes but windshield, head light pod frame, handle bar bent down on one side. Rocker switch for warmers won't rock backward for thumb warmer. Right side bar the kill switch is busted off.
The vibration it has now is what worries me. At higher speeds it seems to quiet down alot but at take off and lower speeds climbing hills it just growls and has some vibration.
She's got collision so I'm thinking of just taking it to a dealer because of the vibration. I'm hopeing it didn't roll on the chain case or the primary clutch and cause it to be out of wack.
Only 1k miles on it. I hope I can find a good mechanic to straighten it out right since insurance should cover it. $500 deductable. My rates may go up but this might cost plenty.
I got it inside my shop thawing out and I'll have a good look at the track wheels, etc. tommorrow.

Glad to hear no one was hurt.
Since you have insurance I wouldn't put a wrench on it, just take it to the newest, biggest, and most expensive Yammi dealer with-in a hunded miles and let them have at it.

X2, that's what insurance is for, the major stuff. Could have bent the tunnel a little? At least get her checked out and an estimate.

The tunnel and skid was loaded with ice as well. I've been pulling it out as its thawing. Dealer is closed until Monday so I will check it out some what and take it for a ride tommorrow to see if the ice was the problem. I don't ride it so it may of been growling, vibrateing. It did feel like something was rubbing on the track. I had that issue on my Attak a couple of years ago.
If not Monday I'll call a big dealer.

did you change the belt? If, during the accident, the throttle was hit and spun the clutch with the track locked up, it could have messed up the belt. i am speaking from experience, burried in the back woods trying to gas it out, got back on trail and feel a vibration that went away with higher speeds. Changed the belt and vibration was gone!

I changed the belt with a used one from my machine. It still makes the growling and vibration
I haven't rode it much and I know it is a different sled. I ran it in the shop with the track up and it is noiser it seems then my Attak with closed windows etc. Hers has very window clipped. All wheels look good and the track seems fine with no signs of wear. Drive cogs seem fine too.
I couldn't see any signs of damage anywere except the handle bars, windshield and mounting pod.
I may bring it in to a dealer and him go for a ride to see. I wish I had another one like it to compare.
If I knew the drive train was fine or normal I would fix it myself and not go the insurance route because of the $500 deductable and the increase in premiums she might get so what to do.
