As the subject says. Will the stock skis off an 06 Attak work on an 02 Viper?
Reason i am asking is I am trying to sell my original skis locally and a guy is asking me if they will work. I've only ever owned 4 stroke Yamaha's so I don't have an answer.
Thanks,

I took the skis off of my 07 attak and put them on a 99 Venture without any problems.
They are both trailing arm suspensions, so he should not have any problems. He might just need the bolts that came off with the skis cause they are thicker.

The only real difference is the height of the mount hole. I think the vipers came with the stamped aluminum saddle, which is the same mount height as the 06 ski.
Older Yamahas with the cast aluminum saddle or, heaven forbid, steel skis, will lose approx. 1" of ground clearance going to saddless.

I have my 04 warrior skis with the aluminum saddles on a 89 exciter... just mill out the saddle in the middle for bold alignment.
