As the subject says. Will the stock skis off an 06 Attak work on an 02 Viper?

Reason i am asking is I am trying to sell my original skis locally and a guy is asking me if they will work. I've only ever owned 4 stroke Yamaha's so I don't have an answer.

Thanks,

I took the skis off of my 07 attak and put them on a 99 Venture without any problems.

They are both trailing arm suspensions, so he should not have any problems. He might just need the bolts that came off with the skis cause they are thicker.

I sold my originals to a guy with an SRX and he used them with no problem as far as I know

I have some off my nytro that I was going to give my dad for his 99 venture.. I'm assuming I need different rubbers?

The only real difference is the height of the mount hole. I think the vipers came with the stamped aluminum saddle, which is the same mount height as the 06 ski.

Older Yamahas with the cast aluminum saddle or, heaven forbid, steel skis, will lose approx. 1" of ground clearance going to saddless.

bout the only thing you cant make them work on is pogos. I have doos on my cat, poos on my other cat. poo simons on my nytro. pretty much anything gos

I have my 04 warrior skis with the aluminum saddles on a 89 exciter... just mill out the saddle in the middle for bold alignment.

I took my 06 yamaha attak skis and put them on my viper and they fit perfect.
