While talking to my local AC dealer/owner/friend Lee, he told me a little story about some "trouble" he got into last year. Lee has always run big power. He ran 240hp Crank Shop motors back in the day 20 years ago.
He has a ZR9000 with TD tunes & i believe launch control.
Well at a bar there was a heavily modded piped DOO boy boasting & bragging & basically begging for a whoopin'. Lee said stop talking & let's go outside & see who's who. Keep in mind Lee is 300 plus so he gets serious traction from the drop.
When the arm dropped, Lee took off & the DOO boy gave up almost instantly when he realized he was outgunned. When Lee got back, the bar owner was yelling & screaming.
Turns out, when he punched it, the track spun right through the hard packed snow, through the layer of ice then down to the parking lot gravel. He BLEW out ALL the windows in the bar! They thought the place was being invaded by terrorists with AK-47's! These things always happen to him & he walks away with just a good story.
What did we learn here boys?
1. A Winder with tunes can make your insurance rates go up
2. Always look BOTH ways before using your launch control
3. Don't pee into the wind
3. Don't stand on superman's cape & you don't mess around with Jim....i mean Lee
