wiring in shield heater

does anyone know where i can tie into to connect my heated visor on my modular helmet? It came with a positve and negative lead but I don't know where to tie into so it will be inline with a fuse. Is there a sevice manual out yet?

There is no plug in you have to go from the battery. Just make sure you fuse the wire

You can hook up a 12v adaptor on a new Nytro, I just witnessed our dealer do it this week. The wires to tap into are just above the battery on the RT side, (can't remember color) and the 3 amp fuse in your fuse panel needs to be changed to a 7.5 amp.

come right off the battery with a inline fuse holder and then straight up to the bars. 10 min job.

what size fuse when coming directly off the battery should we use???

Be careful I had my install on the wromg wire = cooked starter. Yamaha sent a note to the dealer about this. Got it fixed on waranty

You can tie in to the brown wire under ignition, this is a keyed power source. Put a in line fuse on the power source and just hook theground to a bolt on the frame
