I have a 2007 Nytro RS

Future plans wish list:
Rockmeisters hot hands kit
Skinz Trail series hand guards
13 mm Stabilizer bar
Hy-Gear reservoir kit for my fox floats
Exhaust system (don't know what one yet, any recommendations?)
Clutch kit (don't know what one yet, any recommendations?)
GPS with ram mount

Planning to have the hot hands kit and stabilizer bar before season starts.

Anyone else have plans for their sled?
:yam:

go with ulmer racing for your clutch kit. i love mine.

ill give out my list.
2005 rxwar
already done
-ulmer front bushing kit
-curve xs skis
-13mm swaybar
-blacked out windy
-black lower panels
-ulmer clutching
-slydog becool wheels (work great)
-low solid black windy with ty decal
-4th wheel kit
-marginal snow wheel kit
-olin's shocks all 4 corners
-holtzman green springs
-lower control arm gaurds
-belly pan protector
-rear aux cooler

coming mods
-rx seat jack (thanks sasquatch)
-adjustable bar rizer (like on viperdave's attack)
-custom aluminum sleigh hitch (towed too many sleds without)
-highjacker snowmobile jack (viperdave saw how short i get in the deep snow)
-css system
-extros + track (when i snap the stock drive axle)

i just got my sled broken in enough to run synthetic oil in the motor as i got it in time for the (ahem) winter of 07 as a nc leftover. we will see what funds are like for the last 4 items on the list. some might wait untill next year as i have to finish some toy mods on the bikes this summer. already spent $1700.00 in carbon fibre and on gytr silncer on the wrx.

Do you like the curve skis? I haven't had a chance to try mine yet b/c I bought mine towards end of last season.

Does the 13 mm bar make a big difference?

The 13mm does make a big difference, its for the aggressive rider...

Secondly, I like the bender exhaust for your sled, but be prepared to remove after your season and have welded up. This is my second bender breaking at exactly the same places. It will be reinforced this year....

Also, ulmers clutching is great and his bushing kit is amazing, just installed it.

TrailxRider, are you sure that Rockmeister's kit works with the RS Nytro? I thought that it was just for the FX chassis Nytros, but I may be mistaken.

I've already done my mods for next season, see my additions here: http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=73524&start=15

There are a couple of other "possible" plans in the future are a K&N filter kit, Trail Tank, maybe exhaust system.

SUPER CHARGE stage 1 on pump gas...I ride GROOMED trails and want that little extra on rail beds and lakes.

M10 suspension install, CSS light, and RAM mount for my GPS!!! The second two are already done...I saved the biggest job for last.....getting this puppy in!!!!! And I need to move the mount points back about a half an inch or so to clear my extros....not a bolt in anymore!!!!

i love my curve skis. one thing that is a must with them is to make shure all your a-arm bushings are tight. once i did mine with ulmers kit it handled awsome. with bad bushings i was darting all over the trail in muni. once it was tight, the sled went where i pointed it. they also float in the powder a lot better than the stockers. breaking trail my front bumper now stays above the snow when stopped. with stockers i was submarineing off trail bigtime.

the 13mm swaybar makes a huge difference over the stocker. makes the sled now so that it corners very flat. improved my sled so much that i am taking off the low 03 seat i have on there and putting my stocker back on with an adjustable riser when i find the one i want.

wish I had money now. I'm going to sell my Schecter gryphon guitar since I play it maybe once a year. I know its not worth a lot but I should be able to get atleast one of the things on my list.

Thanks for the kudos guys!

TrailX... If you go with an Excell exhaust, the full package will come with either a stage I or II clutch kit that compliments the whole system. We have a full system with stage II clutch upgrade on our Nytro SE and it rips! The fit and finish is top notch and our Nytro is now bar to bar with an Apex on top end. Of course, the skis may have something to do with it too ;-)

If I had $200 to spend for an upgrade on my '07 Nytro RS what would I get? I ride groomed trails.

Only upgrade I have done so far is skis and a skid plate. I was thinking maybe the stabilizer bar.

go with the swaybar. it is worth the money.

Rock's kit works just fine on an RS. It was a plug and play on my 07' Rage GT. No wires to splice. The only thing I had to do was bump the idle speed up a hair. G.B.
