To start off its a 2006 Apex RTX, I fueled it up yesterday, drove it up on the trailer the sled ran fine then shut it off, today got to my destination sled would not start!!! Turned the key waited for the fuel pump to energize, but no noice!!! Turned the key it cranked, cranked then no start. Turns over but would not start, the gauges come on, engine turns over. Any advice would be good.
Thank you

Your fuel pump relay is frozen. Look behind the secondary clutch, just behind the footwell. You will see 4 relays.. It's the 3rd one in I believe. If not the second. Try the third one and if you still don't here the noise of the pump. It's the second one in from the outside. Take it off and bring it in where it is warm for about 30minutes or so. Then re-install or goto a dealer and get a new one $12.00 bucks and keep the old one as a spare and keep it on you all the time and not out in the cold..
Sled freak? is there a relay for the starter ? mine will not turn over though is loading the fuel. just posted the whole story under Rideone.

Slob don't forget you live in one of the coldest places in NY state for low temps.
You knew that though.
Sled needs a little TLC when shes cold.

If u r out on the trail and that happens 2 u just remove the relay and warm it up in u'r pocket or hands. Rearrange the relays so that is the outside one making it easier 2 get 2.

I bought an extra relay and carry it in my pocket. Supposedly they were updated for 2007, but my 2007 has frozen. Also, the position can be variable. IIRC, three of those four relays are the same, but they can be in any order or location in my experience.

My 07 did the same so I dont know if it was updated or not. I pulled my sled in side and let it warm up then it started. It only happened once and it was -18 no wind and sat out side all night at a hotel so the YAMAHA dealer let me put it in side .
