Won't start after storage

Easy way if you have compressor is to put blow gun end in tank and seal with a rag. use a slight amount of air (not to much ) to build pressure in the tank and crank engine. Just takes a few seconds.

The fuel pump has two check valves in it. I would try changing the diaphragms.

If the check valves are holding,can fuel leak back thru the diaphram?
Or is this just to ensure good pumping action?
