Won't Start? Here's a Suggestion

My 17 LTX SE has had the occasional starting issue. It was purchased non current in October and has 500 miles/800 kms on it. Sometimes when starting, I could turn over the engine no problem, but nothing lights up on the instrument panel, no headlight etc. And it wouldn't start. So, I would flip the kill switch back and forth, thinking it's a loose wire. Just had it in at Bracebridge Yamaha for the first service asked the Tech to check it out. Tech advises that the issue was caused by the load control relay freezing. He took it apart, thawed it out and greased it up. He says Yamaha is aware of this issue. Something else to consider if your having starting problems.
