Stud Boy Deuces take 5 km or so off the top.
Sno-Trackers do not seem to take anything off the top.
Old Skis off a 06 to a 10 with aggressive Sno-Trackers is best performance on a 2011.
Second best is 2011 ski's with the Semi aggressive Trackers.
X 2!!
I have had Dollie's, Duce bar's and aftermarket ski's.
SnowTracker's still the only thing that solves all issue's with out sacrifice.
Trackers rule, period! IMHO

My research and personal experience says Trackers.
However I hear the Cobras are good as well. Totally different concept though.
Cobras kind of flatten the trail out some to reduce darting whereas the Trackers
have 3 biting vertical surfaces.
The Trackers Flat out work for no darting and great bite on a groomed trail. On hardpack you would swear the sled is on rails and with the power steering you can pretty much steer with 2 fingers. It is/they are that good.

I didn't do a lot of testing but based on before and after running side by side with a friends Apex I would say there was no top end loss. I have heard the same response from other people that rode my sled with the Tracker's and then put them on there sled's. I think Mike Knapp said he noticed no loss on top as well.
The first pair of aggressive's lasted me 6 K as well.
I also have the semiagressiv's on both my wife and sons Phazer with excellent results.

my XTX has the cobras from the preivous owner and they still darted some. plus one of the studs on each ski broke off. I guess that is normal on the yamaha's. i will not be going with those this winter but rather will be going with the Yamaha dual runner skis instead.

This is the first I have heard of stud issue's with the Yamaha's? Dual keel ski's suck top end as well as fuel. When you happen to follow another dual keel ski they track/lock on. JMO

i've been running the kimpex arrow's on my SRX for years with no issue on top end or fuel usage. my fuel mileage was the same as the apex's i ran with and they had stock single runners. i also did not have any type of darting with these either, no matter the snow conditions. i plan on using the Yamaha dual runners on my Apex and i should be able to add more front end weight now that i have the eps so this thing should handle much better next winter. and yes the rear studs on the cobra head runners do break when mounted on the stock yamaha skies, not a big deal but they do rattle when going across hard surfaces.

How do the Snowtrackers compare to Bergstrom Triple points?
I now have Bergsrtom's on my Curve ski's but never got around to trying them out due to lack of snow and time.

Can you even run Snowtrackers on Curve's?

Good question

I was just wondering from those that have ran/tried both how the 2 compare?

Tracker's are only available for OEM ski's the last I checked. A frend had the full Bergstrom triple point set up that I spen't time with. I would not trade my Tracker's for the triple point set up! The tracking is reduced by shimming the ski/loading the rear and lifting the front. It upset's the whole feel of the sled and steer's harder. A ski is not designed to work that way! Tracker's leave the ski the way it should be and deal with what it is going over in the front where it should be.
Over 6K on my first pair.
I always try to remind people that put the Tracker's on to make sure they have no shim's in and set toe to 0 with strap across ski tip's.

Do they work great on your new 2012 Apex?? Same ski as 2011 correct?
