I got a hell of deal on a trailer last weekend. For $300 I picked up this hardly used 2 place. With all the updates to my house I don't have a ton of money to spend on a trailer. All it needed was some new leaf springs and I made up the salt shield for it that will work for now. I order some ski guides but after those get here I will have only about $450 into a trailer with zero rust. I would say not a bad find.

Looks good! I found a deal like that on a Single place snowmobile trailer 4 years ago. New tires is all it needed, $ 300 into mine and it's like new . Make sure you repack the wheel bearings and have fun.

Yup, Thats the next thing on the list to do. I repack all my bearings on all my trailer religiously ever since I had a really bad experience with bearings.

Any bearing failure is a bad experience! Ha keep up on sanding and touching up rust spots and that trailer will last you a long time.

Yup they are no fun. The plan is to use this trailer for a few seasons and then upgrade to a enclosed trailer but I will make sure this sucker doesn't rust because I hate rust.

Nice, just gotta work for you. Got an old track for mats (if your studded)?

When I got back into riding a friend of mine had an old pop up camper- mouse crap & lot of PITA later had a decent trailer with 4' drop gate for $350. I got good 3 season usage out of that then sold and started wheelin' -n- dealin' on an 8' aluminum, onto a 8 1/2 for couple hundred more after selling off and picked up a minty used 2011 clamshell for $2200- on Craigslist in Western Mass only 2 hours, pretty much bought sight unseen & 3 1/2 hour road trip.
Dealing with 2 frozen covers forever at the end of the day as the Wife sits in a warm truck just sucked #*$&@!

Sometimes the drive is worth the find.
