World series of ice drag's?

Will do! Check team Fast Four on Facebook also! Were running a RX-1 chasis so in a couple classes like the ProMax Outlaw power adder were bringing a knife to a gun fight but we have done well in the past finishing in the top three a couple times. You never know #*$&@ goes down hill fast sometimes!
Our outlaw OSP Viper is pretty much done so maybe next year we will have a gun for the fight?

Well we had a rough weekend! We ended up with a third in promax outlaw power adder and a third in lake racer. We suddenly developed a belt smoking problem, somthing broke and we didn't have enough time between rounds to go through and check everything. Best pass before problems was a 4.97 at 140 mph. We could have thrown a little more at it but we couldn't have used it any way. Sled and driver on the scale was 820lb!!!

Nice job... that still moving, damn.

Thanks Tom. We think there could be a 4.80 in it yet? It's making power but that's a lot of weight!

Looks like there was a lot of fast iron. What was the winning run times? Was the 4.97 run capable of winning if the belt issue had not come about? 1/8 mile I assume. I kinda thought your schedule looked busy, lol. Best valentine's fun a man can have really!

Yes some of the fastest sled's in the world were there! There was rumor that there was a 4.5 run at some time on Friday. We did not see it so i can't verify it. The quickest I heard in the final's on Saturday was around a 4.7 ? As I said we think we may be able to get near a 4.80 and that is awesome from an OEM chasis especially one of the weight we are at! We have the power to do it's a mater of putting it all together. Coming up with a 1.1 sec 60' with 820# is no small feat!

Just checked over on HCS. Glen hall had some times up. They did run a 4.54 at 151 mph in qualifying on Friday. The sled is a Pro Line chasis, Hypersports sled with Glen Hall tuning. I talked with one of the Ratzlaff racing team, he said the sled was 425 lbs.

Seems to me that 100 lbs = 0.10. Another thing I used to go by was, for every 6 inches of lift off the line was a half a sled down the track, maybe more with faster sleds. You need that track on the ground. We used to add weight in the nose to help with this and it worked on several occasions. Where the weight is in some cases, can be more important than total weight. And at 820#s you've got plenty of it, lol! Did ya figure out your sudden belt slip issue?

I think we figured a couple things out! First both shocks in the rear of the pro line skid are blown so likely the wheelie problem? Some how the wrong censor got selected on the AMS boost controller so we think it may have been coming off the stutter button at higher than set boost? We made a couple clutching changes also so all in all it was just hitting so hard that the driven just gave up and opened upon engagement. Fix everything, take a few steps back to safe zone and start testing some new idea's.
Yes big wheelie is not forward progress! I figured our recorded 60' times are near one tenth slower due to the censor not being tripped till the rear of the skid. LOL! That makes our 60' times in the 1.1-1.7's! Maybe there is a limit of what you can do with 820#! LOL!

That all fixed you gotta be seeing 4.7s. I bet you can do it. Where and when do yas run again?

Cable Wisconsin March 7th. It's an outlaw race, not full line of classes. They use photo eye's but usually don't give ET's. Everything would need to be perfect but 4.7's possible!
