The lower A-arms on my Nytro wore out and are riding on the spindle. I priced out lower a-arms from a local dealer, $325 CDN each. Diamond-S Mfg sells a complete set (both upper and lower + hardware) for $650 USD ($925 titanium).
I have heard of ZBroz and Skinz before but these are new to me. Does anyone have experience with Diamond-S A-arms? For the price it seems to be a no brainer and it sounds like they have a similar geometry to the 2011 Nytro.

I replaced my front end with a zbroz kit, it was cheaper to replace with a new kit than to rebuild one side with yamaha parts! Not to mention it is higher quality gear, no more crap ball joints to worry about.
What does diamond-S offer for ball joints?

I have not talked with them yet but on their website they say they are high strength. What I like about them is the ball joint housing threads into the A-arm (is a separate piece) so if you ever have a problem with the coupling you can just replace the coupler not the whole arm.
Another question is there enough of an advantage to warrant titanium for the price difference?

I've been running one of the earliest Skinz front ends for a couple years now and don't have much to complain about (only dislike the bent tie rods) but honestly, if I were to purchase another front end tomorrow it would be CR Racing's +3". Their craftsmanship is outstanding, they are made from 4340, 7.5 lbs lighter, and they use factory tie rods, and the price is reasonable at $750.
MountainTechs are nice as well. Maybe not as attractive or lightweight, but they offer more adjustability and the mild steel has it's own benefits. One thing is for sure, Nytro owners have ALOT of options these days. CR, Z-Broz, Skinz, MountainTech, Diamond S, Barcode, ect.

It's the crappy ball joints to blame. Same thing happened to one of ours. Take the a arm off and add a couple of spots of weilding or head of a bolt to the upper side of the race so that you can press out what's left of the ball joint race. it's a lousy design and
or poor material selection choice from Yamaha. They should have fixed the problem instead of leaving it to the owners. Happen to us on a ride 7 hours drive away and destroyed a set of spindles in the process. Only up side was that it was our last day and the sled was no longer rideable. I considered revised from end but then it would need shocks, boards, skid, tank were still crap so I decided to sell the nytros and switch brands.
