Well after bending my right spindle last saturday, and calling dealer to get me a replacement, and then finding out that there is none in the states. I was getting really bummed, so I ended up fixing my bent spindle, because I was told they wouldn't be available till the 27 of Feb.

I also made a couple of phone calls to Yamaha Corp and asked to see what could be done? They person I talked to said they'd see what they could do.

Well to my surprize, dealer called yesterday and said that the spindle was in! My dealer was as shocked as me, they said that is was shipped directly from Japan! So I just wanted to say that I am happy with the responce that I got from Yamaha!

Thank you Yamaha!

Dustin

I was hoping all this backorder stuff meant they were fixing some of this stuff in Japan. I guess if they are still sending out parts this is not the case.

I think Yamaha busted their balz to get a part out to a guy who wants to ride. Dont think it is any kind of indicator as to a redesign or not :dunno:

I'm going to pick it up today so we will see if there is any difference in it. And yes I thank Yamaha for busting their rears to get me a part!

THANKS A BUNCH

I agree Tork... There is to many user jumping to conclusion without all the facts...

Ya I doubt we'll see truckloads of free ball joints, spindles, etc. heading our way................but that's damn awesome service that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere................. :-o :-o

Yeah, too bad they won't respond to the subframe/a arms issue as quickly. :o| Hopefully they are being updated and that's the reason why they're unavailable....

Trussman,

The 'sled game' is a tricky one LOL. The reality plays itself out, sometimes better, but always much sloooower than internet speculations. :drink: :tg: :moon:

My front frame came in last friday the same way, straight from japan. Dealer was shocked like I was too. They were quoting me the end of Febuary. Thanks Yamaha!

Was yours a warranty claim, or is it out of your own pocket ? LOT'S on here would really like to know !

Please don't dirty this thread with your complaints. If you didn't hit anything then take the sled to the dealer and I am sure it will be covered under warranty.
