My MTX skis have a square keel that around 1" wide and over 1" deep on the bottom of the skis, VERY much like the C&A skis I had on my SX600R. They flat out bite on corners that have any amount of snow, I've only experianced "push" on icy corners where the stock 3" carbides don't grab which will be fixed by some 6" Bergstrom triple points I'm adding in the off season.

So would a 121" Phazer be better off with the Phazer MTX skis on it as far as trail-riding?
