Guys I went back a few pages and didn't see a similar question so here is mine....
Time to replace the track on my 09' XTX. I have been a stud guy for over 20 years. I want to go to a 1.50 lug track and run it studless to see if where and how I ride agrees with the capability of the track (long distances, agressive and high speeds in and out of corners, on and off throttle very hard) If I don't like it I have the option to stud unlike the 1.75 option. Camoplast shows on their site three choices of the 1.50 lug.
1. Intence
2. Crossover
3. Rip Saw
Who has on trial reports of any of these boots based on how I decribed I ride. Thanks as always.
Coop.

Sorry boys I just did some homework and it looks like the "Crossover" is the only 144" track that's available for me. Still would like some input from studded and non-studded applications. Thanks.

I run a 1-5 crossover on my XTX without studs. I would say my riding style is simular to yours and the 1-5 is great 90-95 % of the time here in Northern NB. The only time I miss studs is when the trails get icy which dosen't happen often here (depending on the winter). I've run the crossover for two seasons and have a few cracked or split lugs but none are missing. I'll never go back to studs and when conditions are icy I slow down. My only beef with the crossover is that the lugs are a bit soft and tend to bend back over time...if I think about it this week I'll take a pic and post what I mean. BTW dont be afraid to look around for best price...I had mine shipped from the states for a steal...less then $400 to my door...dealer wanted over $1000 with taxes.

I've got one on my 11 Apex XTX and ran it on my Attak before that. I bought it used and as near as I can figure, it's got around 9,000 miles on it. Will be replacing it this year. IMHO, it's the perfect all around track! Works well on/off trail and has much better bite in all directions than the Predator I ran before. As upie93 stated, slow down if it's really icy. Still does ok, but not as good as a studded track. Several members are using this track, even some with power adders. I believe you'll be happy with one!

Thanks for all the input. Just got a price quote from the US and my dealer in Canada on the 1.50. Within a few bucks of oneanother. That surprised me! Actually the Canadian price beat the price I got from Indian River. Now I need to decide wether I should buy now or wait till the Novi show. I've got super track deals at the show over the years. Its just too far away and I want this sled done yesterday. Thanks again for input all.
