I put on the steering relo from OFT and I can't see my gauge anymore. Does anyone make a bracket to move it up higher where I can see it? Is there also a wire extention harness available, or do I have to cut and extend them? Thanks

That only works if you have a riser. I do not have a riser.

It says its compatible with any flat top steering post. Your XTX has a flat top steering post. It would just sit on top of your stock steering post wouldn't it?

I put one on my nytro but I extended the wiring harness so I didnt have to reroute the stock harness. I have pictures I could post if you would like to see them. I do have a 2 inch riser from lake effect also on mine.

The Roest guage bracket mounts on the top of the steering post. The position is the same whether you have a riser or not. It will work on your XTX with no issues. You just have to re-route the wiring a little bit. No cutting and splicing.

I was looking at it and it looks like the plastic bolt cover with the yamaha logo on it wouldn't fit because it hangs down too far in the front. Does anyone have a picture of it installed without a riser?

That seems weird. There are alot of people on this form that have done OFT re-locator and you are the first to say they can't see the guage anymore. hhhmmmmmm, I was going to do this mod, but now I'm wondering, since I don't want to be re-inventing the wheel here...

The roest gauge relcator is the way to go. Much better visibility. I love mine.

Do you have a riser? If not could you send me a pic with it installed? That plastic cover hangs down pretty far in the front.
