That's great, thanks Stoli....how much heat does that IP vent let out?
The decorative cover on the XTX handlebars could be trimmed to fit. I put one on my xtx and just undid some tape on the factory wiring harness to free the wire length needed to reach the new location of the pod. I have my gps installed where the cover goes so I didnt modify mine. The point on the very front of the cover will hit the bracket if not trimmed ~ easy fix to make cover work. As far as the guage relocator and vent I cant comment as I have not rode the sled yet (0 miles) but fit and finish of the Roest products are on par with OEM.
I want to clear up the guage relocator and the handle bar relocator are 2 different mods. Im talking about the guage relocator would require the handlebar cover to be trimmed.

I added mine to the top of my riser and I also installed my Lowrance GPS unit going to try the maps available for snowmobiling and see how I like them.

ssx600,
How do you have the gps mounted? I have a garmin colorado mounted to the bars with a ram mount. I like the looks of yours.

cool set-up that would be easy to see.
I might have to look at something lower though, it wouldn't be long before I smashed my face on that. I'll have to keep my nice soft pad in that location.

Sorry for hyjacking the thread. The vent let's out a lot of heat. Great spot for tossing your googles when you stop. I had concerns when I first put it on due to how snow can build up under the shield and getting ice build up... But had no issues. One of those products that I would highly recommend.

The riser has different locations for you to thread in a ball to use your ram mount for your gps. I have not rode yet with this set up so not sure how I will like it. The riser I have is a lake effects 2" riser it was on the sled when I got it. I added the vent kit and relocated the gauge so I could see it better. I hope that I dont hit gauge with my head. only time will tell. Cant wait for the snow to get her.

Does anyone have any pictures or tell me how to make the factory harness reach the relocated display. I trimmed the wire wrap but the wires go in both directions so it wont reach.
You have to untape the loom and the extra is there and I found it on a post somewhere on here.marsh14 said:Does anyone have any pictures or tell me how to make the factory harness reach the relocated display. I trimmed the wire wrap but the wires go in both directions so it wont reach.

I cut it back a little and saw one wire connected going in both directions so I figured it wouldn't reach. I guess I will have to cut it back further.
I want to say there is about 5" extra in there.
