Im going to be purchasing a 09 FX Nytro this year. I am having trouble deciding on the XTX or the regular. I would like opinions from you guys who have had a long track sled on the pros and cons. I ride almost exclusively on groomed trails. Talk to me.............

if all you ride are groomed trails then i would get the standard FX NYTRO,it is a great trail sled,i have 1500 miles on mine with ZERO problems no wet foot no bent front end no slider problems no hand warmer problems,I LOVE MINE. my last two sleds where long tracks 136 warrior and attak.

I've ridden the same sled shorty and converted to 144. Great sled ! . I have 200 miles of mountain riding, boondocking and a 1300 or more of groomed trail with the long track. Hands down, long track for Arm ripping bite outta the hole and total comfort of the long skid for the long rides. The sled handles the exact same if not better. Front end stays planted alittle better cause of the longer skid acting like a wheelie bar. Best move I made to the sled.

Topgun, how do you like the back country? I'm thinking of the same track but with the 136" hartman kit. What size of drivers did you go with?

It's been a good track that has awesome holeshot and to date hasn't ripped any lugs . The lugs haven't even laid over yet like some tracks do. As far as the drivers I used 9 tooth extro's with tunnel protectors removed.
