This morning my xtx let me down, It was 27 below ,I decided to go ice fishing,{bad Choice} anyway backed the sled out of a heated shop and hooked up fishouse and away I went, parked sled at fishing spot ,2 hours later ready to leave{NO FISH} NO START sled would crank over fine, called for ride, walked 2 blocks to road, went home got atv went back down to the xtx, took off panels and tryed to start again nothing, I couldnt hear fuel pump, left key in on positon and took off fuse cover started to check fuses and all of a sudden pump started running turned key and sled fired right up, What is the problem, bad connection with fuse or a fuel pump relay that all of a sudden decided to work?????? :o|

Mine did the same the other day. Either the relay or the fuse. Mine ended up being the fuse. Took it out and wiped it off, put it back in and the fuel pump cycled. I think it had moisture on it and this was causing it to not cycle.

Mine is going in next week to get three recalls done and they are going to replace the relay for the fuel pump.

fuel pump relay, the relays on tese sleds suck as their not as watertight as they should be. They thaw out in heated shops and then freeze up later. Buy a new one and cover it up good with dielectric grease and you should be good to go after that. When your stuck thawing them with a lighter helps or even just putting them in your pocket.

Same. At least it wouldn't start in the garage. I'm waiting for a fuel pump. My dealer says they can't remember if they have ever had to replace one. Lucky me.
