Hay guys,
Went out today to clean the garage, while i was out there i started up my sled 09 Nytro Rtx Se with powderlites stage 2 kit. Sled started right up as usual,i keep it hooked up to a maintainer all year round. About 2 hours later a buddy came over & said fire her up,i went over turned the key and nada, would not start. Just turn the key and nothing, the fuel pump is running lights are on but will not turn over. I checked all the fuses & they are good,i wonder if the battery is just shot? Any ideas on this, any ifo would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!!!

If you think it is the battery try to jump start it using a different battery. Mine did a similar thing last year because the battery was too cold. My starter would go for a second then stop if i left the sled for fifteen minutes.

Try jumping across the starter relay with the key on. I've also have had a problem with the ignition harness connector corroding. Follow the wires behind the key switch down the right side of the steering loop to the connector. Clean it if necessary and apply some anti corrosion compound. Do the same to the plug on top of the starter relay.

Check the main harness directly behind the primary especially if you haven't relocated it or removed the casting lug off the block. It wears through and usually shorts out to the block. There is a thread here if you use search.

Hay guys,
Well i had a few minutes to go out check the sled out. I checked the battery with my meter & it reads 14.1 so i don't believe it's the battery. I also unhooked the key switch connector & cleaned it and plugged it back in & still nada!!! The next thing i guess i will try is to check the harness behind the primary, then check the starter relay. Kids soccer keeps me running!!!!!!! Thanks guys!!!! ART

check your starter relay first, its really easy to see if its bad, turn on your ignition key, take a screwdriver or something to use as a jumper, and put that across the to posts on the relay, if it starts your relay is bad if it doesnt then look behind the primary...

your battery might have 14 volts in it,but when you put a load on the battery in might not have the amperage to hold the load, and its weird that you have 14 volts in a 12 volt battery, you should only have around 14 volts when the sled is running.

its a very common problem, get a new updated one (i dont know the item number) install it and put some dielectric grease on the posts, and it shouldnt cause you problems again.
