Thinking about buying an xtx what are the differences ( if any) between an 2009 and a 2012?

2012 has better hand warmers, wheels with replaceable bearings, updated ball joints, extrovert drivers, updated mount for rear springs on rails, heavier rear springs I believe, skis... might be a few more little things?

Most of those updates came in 2010

Any reason to buy a 2013? I read somewhere there were some updates. I think it was better skis, deeper track, better rear suspension. Is this true? Cost me about $2000 over a new 2011. Thinking its time to lose the viper.

'10 or newer will have the updated parts, but I'd ask yourself how much you plan on modding the sled too? If you find a great deal on an older one, many of the aftermarket fixes can and will perform better than some of the OEM updates anyway, and could very well end up cheaper overall? If you'd rather leave it alone and just tweak/adjust the OEM stuff to your liking, then maybe lean towards a new one?

I'm not degrading anything your saying. Just passing on news so that the poster was informed when most changes took place and not led to assume on year.
