Y.E.S. Coverage - Rear Suspension Remote Adjuster?

Has anyone had any luck getting the Y.E.S. to cover the replacement of the remote adjustment cable leading to the mono-shock rear suspension from the tunnel adjuster on a Vector GT? It has broken twice because of ice build-up under the tunnel.

They covered mine the 1st time but would not cover it the 2nd time
even with the YES program. What good was the warranty if you can't use
it. They know they had a problem with this cable that's why they updated
it later.

I had mine replaced under warranty, was told I got the updated cable. That was spring of 08.

Am i safe to say that 09 vector has updated cable?

Yes, that should be the newer cable but that doesn't mean it won't break.

Do a search for this topic. Somewhere on this forum someone covered or re-enforced the cable to beef it up.
