That's great too hear Eric, say hi to Pascal and Mr Fournier for me it's great to see a Quality shop such as Picotte Motorsports(Roadracing Fame) taking an interest in the sport I've know Pascal to have a place in his heart for them. And a shout out to the Road race team all the best in 2010.If a "Yamacharger" is in my future it will be installed by "Picotte Motorsport".

Im still on board for the yamacharger, I've got my pennies all saved up, just waiting until spring then im ordering mine, can't wait until next season.... YEEE HAWWW
I've seen some real dogs for mach-z's and then I've seen some rockets, depends on set-up
Yes I agree, I have seen at least one that was a total plug fouling turd but He said a 180hp mach. I think it would be hard to get by a good running 180hp mach with a stock apex with "just plugs and clutching" I realize there is alot left on the table with clutching, just doubt its that much...

yamahahaha said:how much does the yamacharger decrease fuel economy???
Last year my RTX was neck and neck with my buddies GT. Sometimes maybe even a little quicker. He would also consistently use a little more fuel. Not much but a couple or three litres at each full fuel up.
Now he has installed the yamcharger and he pulls me throughout the power band without any trouble. To top it off he now uses a couple of three litres less than me at each full fuel.
So either my sled is not performing this year or the charger makes you faster with less fuel.

Hmmm....I think I know where my tax return just might be going!!

Seems like the real deal, everyone that has one is happy with it. I think there might be one on my sled next season.

I've talked to 3 separate guys who own the Turbo Cat and all 3 of them said they were toads. They said they were very disappointed in the performance. They all said they can't believe that Cat claims "the fastest on snow". They were all bought at different shops so the setups were all different. They are bone stock. The real test might be the new 800 Etech. My buddy is getting one to demo for a week in Canada. Can't wait to here his thoughts.SNOWDOG said:Interesting. On paper they should be close and from everything I have heard that cat is a pretty fast sled.
Must feel good to wax that kitty!
Wonder how it would run against one that is dialed in. Cats are pigs from the factory but I have a couple buddies who really know how to dial them in.
Isn't that cat like 172 HP? Apex with the Yamacharger should be in that same ballpark....

yamcharger
For the 180hp Mach-z no problem running it out with the yamcharger if your well clutch, and yes it is better on fuel then the stock sled.

There is no doubt, I will own one, everyone of my questions has been answered by either an owner of a yamacharger or Jeff @ simmons CPR.. I am 100% sure I will be purchasing a yamacharger this spring/summer.
Everything I have read and been told is all positive. I have yet to hear anyone complain about one single thing about this charger. From the install to the final product, eveyone I talked to has been happy.. I can't wait and if I could get away with it, I'd order one right now. But that would require me taking some money out of our checking account and my wife will catch me. I have to wait until I have all the $$$ saved up in my sock drawr....

I am really interested in the yamacharger but isn't there a bubble that sticks out the bottom of the sled.. and i Heard you have to sacrifice some turning radius because of it..
Anyone have any pics i just don't want to be disappointed after i drop $2200.
Also can it be uninstalled and sled returned to stock after?

I wonder what the other "small mod" is that took their dyno numbers up to 200hp instead of the 170hp that Simon is seeing?
