It blew out. It could not have fallen back into the cylinder because of the ground electrode would not let it past. I road the sled back to the garage about a 1/4 mile across the field without the plug in it

It could have dissintegrated to the point of getting into the cyl. and caused some damage. How did you get the threaded part out? If it was mine I would do a compression test to see if it caused any problems.

I will check it out but it has nothing to do with my problems. They have been going on much longer

I just took and built little tabs that bolt into the carb boot bolts, then you could attach some mini turnbuckles to your IC and then go to town from there.

mine blew off several times to, switched to the blue colored boots, hose, never blew off after that.

It is coming off the boots on the head not the intercooler bolts

Got is back together. Different carb boots, Different clamps and new mounting locations for the intercooler. The intercooler was pushing the carbs up about 1/2 inch and causing the carbs to come unseated from the carb boots.

Works good now. It may be a little fat, I do have 150's in it though.

Thanks for everyone who has helped me, it has been a frustrating year. . . . .
