At my dealer NELSONS SPEED SHOP..616 754-9185... And they are one of the biggest dealers in the U.S. They sell all 4 brands, and said POLARIS was in last place at ther dealership by a long way for snow check. He said for the first time since snow check started YAMAHA was the no 1 seller. SKI-DOO was a distend 2nd and then CAT.. He said that the other brands will build a lot more then they snow checked and he will get stuck trying to sell them all. He said YAMAHA will not build much more then they snow checked. He said YAMAHA sold enough just on snow check to make a profit. I dont know how it went at other deralers but it looks like YAMAHA with there 4-STROKE's is going in the right direction...

I am one of those snow check statistics. '05 RS Venture on the way!

Yes - Florida

Been snowmobiling for about 20 years (off & on). Last year my wife & I retired and moved to Florida. Still we want to snowmobile. Usually put on about 2000 -2500 miles a season when we were in New Jersey. Lasy year when we were in Florida - only put on 1700 miles. Figured it was time for the four strokes. We do all of our riding in the Old Forge area. Rode to Saranac Lake, Bratingham, etc. Looking forward to Lake Placid and maybe Vermont/New Hampshire/Maine. Who knows? We go what seems feasible at the time.

I'm also part of those statistics, RS Vector Mountain in silver

I just viewed this very same topic posted on amsnow. I'm gald I never spent one penny to have any part that forum. What a bunch of idiots, no real replies to the subject, just plain childish. I am prowd to be a member here.

Yeah, count me in too as I traded in an old Polaris for a 2005 RX-1.

There have been discussions on other sites about the benefit of snowchecking a new snowmobile. It seems lots of AC people don't see the benefit anymore with many of them waiting to buy in the fall. I would like to see Yamaha expand their snowcheck offering by implementing what Polaris did several years ago, a pseudo customized sled. It would be great if Yamaha offered a choice of shocks, skis, suspension, etc.

I'm a snowchecker, last four sleds I bought two have been snowchecked. I snowchecked the Warrior on the buy now pay a year and a half from now deal. Oh and Amsnow sucks and gets old real fast.
