Do you guys think that you could used Yamaha's float plate with the standard front bumper? I was thinking you could trim it down a bit and attach it the same way as the sport bumper. If the Skinz sloat plate would work why not the Yamaha float plate.

I was wondering the same thing when ordering the accessories. I think that the Yamaha float plate extends a ways past the front grab bar. That's why you need the optional bar. Not to say you couldn't get it to work it just may not be worth the extra work. It seems like the optional bar is about 6"+ longer or more forward that the stock one. Someone on here has to have one.

Heat

with a little heat you can bend them anyway you want.
I think the new extended front bumper sticks out there
a little too far for my liking. But the yamaha float plate
is a good idea
