YAMAHA SAY'S DO NOT STUD RIPSAW!!!

Just an FYI, regarding the RipSaw:
Camoplast does offer a predrilled track for 144 studs in the RipSaw.
The part number is 9955. This is the shorty (121") version. There is no 136 version for this year. Per Camoplast, it will be offered next year.

Also, the 9837 track can be obtained with 144 predrilled holes. The old part number is 9837H144, but the part number has been changed to 9940.

Per Camoplast, if you use these tracks-you MUST stud them with at least 96 studs, or the warranty is void! Predrilled tracks carry a 1 year warranty from Camoplast, instead of the usual 2 year for unstudded tracks.

Both of these tracks are currently available, but, you have to ask, as they are not listed in Camoplasts dealer catalog, printed in November 2003.

I ordered a 9940 for my RX1, and got it in 1 day, so, they are available. Just have your dealer make the call to their distributor. I paid $372 for the 9940, including MI tax and overnight shipping.

Just finished stretching mine with picks no issues. It took 3 ajustments in 20 miles of holeshots and short speed runs. Never even got a scratch underneath!!! Each time It would ratchet I got off and adjusted it. The next 10 miles of the same riding it never moved and didn't ratchet again. Gotta figure the worst is over as far as the stretching goes, wouldn't ya figure?
