I’m thinking about spraying silicone spray all over the engine and everything under the plastics on my viper.
I’ve always done this and continue to do this on my older sleds but with WD-40 instead...I spray everywhere.
I really want to keep the moisture away from the new viper, it’s in my shed that is fully insulated. Should I even bother with the silicone spray?
Thanks guys!

I use wd but silicone should work fine. Don’t forget shock shafts.

Oh and not clutches. Take belt off.

Okay thanks, should I be cleaning the clutches with anything?Oh and not clutches. Take belt off.

I wait till fall for the faces. Then acetone and scuff with emery or scotchbrite. I do clean up the rollers and weights and lightly wipe down with wd. They rust real fast.Okay thanks, should I be cleaning the clutches with anything?
