Yamaha Snowmobile Parts Canada & the USA

the site works good......the pricing is MSRP +

WERD ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Great site.

Prices seem very high I but only checked one thing. Headlight cover for a buddys 05 Vector. $215 + shipping from you. $195 from local dealer no shipping. $90 US[ $113 cdn] from my Maine dealer and $75 US [$93 Cdn] from a US online Yamaha retailer.

I know you can not do anything about Yammie Canadas pricing but I think you can see my problem. I like to support the site advertisers and my countrymen but it is very difficult to justify paying 130% more to buy from you.

I have done everything I can to try and get Yammie Canada to stop overcharging you Canadian dealers who in turn have to put the screws to us.

I am at wits end. Any suggestions?

Hey thanks for the feedback and compliments on our website, we gone to great lengths to keep our website all Yamaha just like this fourm. You do not have to sifft through all the aftermarket stuff to find the real Yamaha parts and accessories your looking for.
Yes we have struggled with fluxuations in the Canadian $ vs the US dollar and found this to be a double edged sword. As our US customers fair much better saving 20% in exchange + no State taxes, pretty much equals a 35% discount....not bad. Yes you are right our Canadian prices have traditionally been higher than our US counterparts, however I see our friends to the south have recieved a much larger parts price increase than we have here in Canada. These are very volatile times indeed. Our Canadian customers have told us they like being able to order there parts and accessories online and our prices are very competitive with there local dealer, the difference being Service and Convience and Selection.
I do apprieciate your efforts to support those of us, who support you.
Regards

nice to have that info up...the prices are a little high a msrp....even with the 70 cent dollar it is still cheaper in the us and even my local yamaha dealer sells at a 15-20% of msrp here in ontario
I guess the biggest difference is we do a lot of Parts business with Yamaha on a Daily basis....meaning we order Yamaha parts everyday. Some dealers order once a week either because they are multiline dealerships or they simply do not have enough for daily ordering from Yamaha, this is why it takes longer for some dealers to supply the parts that a customer has ordered.

We have 2009 Nytro accessories up already. Simply click on "Snowmobile Accessories" tab on our home page then select either "RoughTrail" or "Mountian", let me know if you have any problems.

no 2009 Parts?

i know that about the warranty work, just general servicing-oil changes or repair work

are you kidding........ ;)!

the reason i asked this was in the spring standing in that dealer i was told they would not do any work of any kind on any sled that was imported from the states into canada...... :moon:

A lot wont. I know a few guys who bought Ski-Doos in the US and are having a heck of a time getting the recalls done to complete the RIV process. I know 1 guy who has had 6 SD dealers tell him they will not do the recalls on his sled. It seems as though there is some collusion between SD dealers not to touch a US sled.

I think it is a bit harsh to say you wont work on it at all, but I dont expect the US sleds to get worked on until all of the dealers customers work is done ahead of it.
