Well I dropped my sled off at the end of march to a dealer to get some work done on my sled. I had to have all the service bulletins and steering recall done. Plus I had the left motor mount issue that came loose and it made the threads on the left hand reinforcement panel bad. I all can say is wow!
They did all the updates, plus the fan, nose eblem replaced, new belt, replaced loose grip on right side and replaced the left panel and all hardware. They had it for a couple of weeks. Plus, he threw in the 08 rear snow deflectors (even thou I closed the rear tunnel). Checked my rear link (still no issues) and found that it is still okay. But if it goes bad they said they would take care of it.
Of course I have been owning and racing Yamaha stuff for 30 years and I would expect them to take care of my issues.

They did!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!:)

I droppped mine off yesterday to have them look at all of the loose steering parts. I can move my bars 3/4" back and forth. The ski moves from front to back. All of the bushings and maybe the TRE's are shot. I will find out today if they are fixing it under warranty. 1736 mi on the sled. I am installing grease zerks in the A-arms when it is apart.

I know what you mean. My bushings in the front are still good but I am going to install grease zerts in my A-arms this summer. I have excess steering slop also. But mine seems to be in the twin fork yoke(where the recall was) at the front of the machine. I am going to make some modifications to that area to tighten it up.

All depends on the man (or girl) behind the counter. Dealers are everything in the customer service realm. If you are fortunate enough to have a good one, keep that relationship alive!!! I use beer and gift certificates to Outback, Applebees, and Olive Garden........................ Usually beer does it.......

Dealer address and info is below. Southern Michigan, off US 127. You will have to map quest it. The mechanic's name is Rocky. Hes very knowledgeable with over 20 years with Yamaha. He's not just a mechanic hes a rider of all sorts. They are just a snowmobile and Watercraft dealer. Hope this helps.

My dealer said that Yamaha might come out with some different type of bushing for the front of these sleds. Just have to wait and see.
