Yamaha wide skis on XTX??

I know there has been alot of talk on skis for the XTX, I have read alot of them myself, but was wondering if anybody has thought of putting the wide ski from the Venture Multi-Purpose or VK Pro on their FX Nytro? I originally was going to go with the MTX skis but the deep keel will not be great on trail. By the looks of the wide ski it has the same keel design as the narrow trail skis so it should be good on trail and off. Thoughts??

i just put my curve skis on my xtx this year. i had them on my apex last season and they were outstanding. i had bergstrom triple points while on the apex but purchased a nyrto specific carbide for this seasons riding. contact nick @curve, he is very helpful.

i am putting the yamaha mountain skis on my nitro,same keel height and width, just wider "wings" for better float in the soft stuff,lots of other ski options but this is the least expensive seeing that you use everything from the stock ski except bolt and spacer,hondo logged a lot of miles with these skis and if the mileage king says they work i believe him
