I'll post more but here is some for now.
Erik Frigon won the Eastern Pro Tour Circuit Pro Stock 600 class at Boonville N.Y. Sunday.
Erik and crew came from Maine to race this weekend.Good bunch of guys.
Many people did stop in the pits wanting to ask questions and take photos of the sled.
This was Erik's first race in many years and he did very well for his first weekend.
The sled is a 04 RX-1 that was built by Troy Pierce a couple years ago and was raced before.Erik went this way rather than start fresh as he has been out of racing for a while.
Thanks Erik I had a fun weekend with you guys.Good luck the rest of the year.

600 Pro Stock final--Erik and the RX-1 had a good holeshot and led the first 4 laps and was pulling away.He then got into the rough stuff and almost lost it as his left hand was knocked off the bar after hitting a bump but he managed to grab the bar end and save it.Erik ran the higher lane where it was smoother and the guys behind him seemed to pound through the bumps on the inside trying to catch him.Erik slowed a bit as he was out in the mush as the track had not been plowed lately and the second place racer was gaining on him the last 2 laps.Erik was passed on the last lap between turns 3-4 and then cranked it up knowing he had the power to catch and pass him back by the time they reached the flagman waving the checkered. :flag:

Hot laps-Looking good here.

Erik was running a high smooth line but up in the mushy ice chips which slowed him up a bit and was passed on the inside in turns 3-4 on last lap by the Polaris.Coming out of the corner with the checkered in sight Erik and his Yamaha RX-1 hit the straightaway and went right on by the Polaris.

This is Erik in front less than 50 ft from the checkered flag. :flag:
