So how is Yamaha doing on sales? Perhaps, port-parts could best answer this one.
I ask because my parents came down and visited this past weekend. My folks were telling me about the '04 Polaris 400 Sportsman they bought. I got the usual anti-Yamaha and anti-Toyota talks.
Anyways, at one point my father claimed that Honda and Yamaha are really hurting on sales right now and that Polaris' sales are going through the roof. I personally think thats a load of BS, but Id like to see some real numbers.
I think this because he also said that any Toyota after the year 2000 is a piece of junk. This I find hard to believe because the Toyota Tacoma is on kelly blue book's top 10 vehicles to best hold their value in the next 5 years and the fact that every month Toyota continues to break their sales records for the previous year.
Anyways, if you could get me some hard numbers on how Yamaha is doing that would be great.

Hebi I don't have any hard numbers but believe me Yamaha's atv sales are not by any means hurting. We have a hard time keeping the mainstream models like Grizzlies, Kodiaks, Bruins, Raptors, YFZ's in stock. After what seemed to be alot of Grizzlies and YFZ's around over the winter months they have quickly dissappeared this spring leaving most dealers out of them waiting for 05's or with just a few in stock. If they were not selling well we would be fearing getting the 05's due to too many 04's still in stock but that is definitely not the case.

I can tell you from the dealers around here that Yamaha is in excellent shape. I believe that Yamaha is #1, followed by Honda then Polaris. Yamaha and Honda might the in reverse order, but im sure they are ahead of Polaris...BBY
