never had this before but when i have the yamaheat toggle switch in the off position and toggle the hand warmers to any bar the green light comes on and also when toggle the hand warmers to no bars (off) and yamaheater toggle switch on no red light. any ideas what this might be. At the same time it did work once or twice but cant get the red light on anymore

forget it. seems to work now think it was a little corosion in the switch.

Glad we could help you out. LOL! It's a good feeling to find it your self though.
Just leave the switch in the on position ---- allot of people do not even have the switch in a usable location as you can just leave it on.........
