Yamalube or Amsoil?

It contains a good amount of zinc and other chemicals needed for these high reving engines.

not being a wise a$$ but you should learn about piston and bearing speed. at 11k the mean piston speed of an apex is 4186 FPM, not low but nothing exotic either.

have used amsoil for 20 plus years. Have done the test with multiple oils with a sheet of metal and a torch under to create a hot spot. once the metal has become cherry hot you pour the oil close to the spot and see which way the oil runs. Amsoil, mobil 1, redline all went towards the heat. all conventional oils ran from the heat. castrol syntec went towards the heat and burst into flames..... this is a very crude test....but the results are still interesting. for the money amsoil is a good value as is mobil 1. redline is the oil we have used in our track cars; but not necessarily worth the extra $$.

No Brainer

It's amsoil in everything I own that burns gas or diesel, right down to my lawnmower and ice auger!!!

12,000mi on my '06 apex with nothing but 0-40 amsoil, and running good and never have to add between oil changes(2000-3000mi).
