I don't know much about them. First off are they reliable?
How much power do they give? Do they still work good in the mountains?
I have a guy trying to sell me his 2nd hand. ( he goin turbo)

He wants 2,100$ Canadian for the charger kit, boss seat, mrp header and tunnel dump exhaust, o2 sensor and gauge. With fuel excelerator.

He wants my oil tank and bottom side panels in exchange too

What are your thoughts

tank

you will still need your oil tank, and the charger is ok but don't expect big gains, and they are pretty reliable.

In the mountains it will be a waste, it only gives you 2 psi and you will lose any gains you got. The guy who is selling it to you mostly found this out and is moving to the turbo. I run a Super Charger and for the cost you are going to pay, you are half way to a supet.

I had one on my last sled and it is what it is! They made 20 additional HP over stock on every Dyno they were tested on and are pretty reliable. Run premium fuel and don't worry about it. Any thing more as far as boost goes and things get a lot more tuchey with fuel quality and fuel control. Just depends on you! How much money you want to spend? How knowledgeable you are with tuning as the bigger power will require more tuning and maintenance. As far as elevation is concerned a Turbo is the only thing that will somewhat compensate for elevation change. It is an option in-between.
