Don't waste your money unless it's for the wife. Simply put parking brake on and push and turn on the helix. Its that easy!

Hi i could not view your pdf file, can you send me a pic of it working, thanks Pete mnmsnowbeast@roadrunner.comsledjunk said:You are correct that the stock bolt is replaced by bolt B. The stock bolt is an aluminum alloy but the replacement is a grade 8.8 steel bolt so it can be left in place permanently. Use the same torque specs as the stock bolt.stomper said:Do you have to remove the clutch bolt and install bolt "B" in it's place first. Is it just installed when using the tool or does it replace the clutch bolt all together?
Because the bolt is the only part replaced, it does not add much to the spinning mass and is evenly balanced.

Seems like a lot of parts. My tool is one part just like item C. sledjunk's pic.
All you need is a piece of pipe 1 1/2" ID ( a little bigger will work) about 1/2" long and a washer that covers the end of the pipe and 5/16" hole for the viper.
The thing to check is take the 2ndary bolt out ( 14mm ) wrench, remove the 2ndary washers( don't lose them ), put tool on and thread in clutch bolt. Make sure the bolt turns in about 3 turns(threads) before contact so you don't strip the end threads off. This is why the pipe is only 1/2" long.
Does not open the 2ndary 100%, but belt is still easy to get off.
Just made 2 a couple days ago. Tried them and will work fine even on the trail.
I tacked the washer to the pipe but it is really not necessary if you don't have a welder.
Same for Apex and Vector but the washer has a 9/16" hole to fit the aluminum 2ndary bolt.
Here is an old pic about 2006 of my 1st one. You don't need the clutch washer, then you can use a little longer pipe to open clutch further.
