22 TCAT+ATAC+EPS
No more Sidewinders being made, Thundercat/ZR9000 has one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peal. I myself have nearly 6,700mi on my 22' Tcat +ATAC+EPS and might have 8,000mi by seasons end.
I've been sole searching other options from the 2 remaining sled makers.
I took my sled in the other day to get the ADAPT clutch replaced(spider crack) and have the secondary freshened up. As I was wandering around I seen a 2025 redish/copperish Polaris VR1 850na with the Dyna-mixer system. It's probably the first polaris that didn't make me want to hurl.
It has 4, 2" Fox electronic adjustable and semi-active shocks( very impressive looking). Thinking I might wait for some leftover pricing and work a deal.
What is going to be your next sled(new)? What stands out to you and why?

There is nothing from the other manufactures that I would currently want.
Polaris is the last sled I would own. I don't like how they ride and the quality is terrible. The local dealer here says he will never sell another Boost or take one in trade, problem child.
I could see a 4 stroke Ski-Doo of some sort.
I will probably continue to refurbish my Current 22 GT until something blows my socks off.

The closet thing to a 998 is the 900 Turbo Doo, and it's a far cry from having the power or handling qualities I'm looking for.

I'll continue to ride my 23 LTX-LE and rebuild as needed if I need to, but the rate our winters have been going, I doubt I'll wear it out by the time I die or till I don't want to ride anymore.

Polaris has nothing I'd want for a main trail sled as I would never ride a two-stroke again, slow, smokey, stinky and certainly not reliable enough, and have you seen the price on two-stroke oil lately? OMG!

I don't plan on buying another sled and after having a tuned SW I can't imagine riding anything else as my primary sled.
If Lynx would put the 900R in the Rave I could consider one of those if I absolutely had to choose but I would need to invest in some Hurricane parts immediately.

Don’t think there will be another new sled in my future. Something new is gonna have to really knock my socks off to make me pull the trigger. The thought of another project is exhausting at this point. I don’t see myself on a new 2 smoker either. I’m getting too old and crusty at this point lol

I love my 998, but at 61 I don't feel like rebuilding the Tcat to make it last 20,000mi+.
I like what I'm seeing on the new Dynamix suspension, should be EZ on my old bones.

If you want ride quality then lynx is probably the best it gets overall. Their rear suspension is incredible. My only other choice I would accept or have some lnterest in would be lynx xterrain 900R and Im hoping it doesnt come to that.

Heard they rode very stiff???

As a mountain rider the Lynx Brutal RE (16" track and properly tuned) is the only currently existing sled I could maybe consider. But I'm planning on keeping my Sidewinder probably 10 years. Even considering depreciation, parts becoming harder to find, and its ability to compete with future sleds. Heck, might keep it forever. What a machine it is.

I sold my Sidewinder last year and bought a new Lynx XTerrain 900R. The rear suspension is amazing. Overall, it is a lot of fun to ride. It is really slow compared to my tuned RTX though.

Same boat here. But I am 62. Rode an 850 VR1 Dynamix earlier this year in a bumpy trail (a friend bought one}. I have to say it was incredible and the nicest suspension I have ever rode. Steered very easy also. Unbelievable watching the 4 shocks doing their thing while accelerating, decelerating and going through the turns. Definitely can feel a change between the 3 ride modes. The 850 motor was more than enough for the trails. Yes it is a 2 stroke and smells somewhat and you have to get used to it.

Never ever did I ever admire a scraplaris, till this dynamixer 850na. If the one at my dealer hangs out till late spring I might try to make a deal.
