Yamaha apex 06 RTX
i’m currently on a ‘06 apex rtx with fox floats, i’ve heard a lot of great things about the updated front suspension and was wondering if there are any kits for conversion into my older sled.

i do not know about kits but i do know that era gytr shocks fit on my 2011 and 2016 apex xtx. bolt right up with no issues so i cannot see why you could not mount a set on yours.

@kinger was actually able to order the complete shock assembly as this is the part number for it: 8LB-237R0-00-00

@ a little over $850, might be a viable option. I know kinger is planning on putting them on his Apex or may even be in the process of doing so.

I think Kinger covered it in his “garage” post. I’d love to get my hands on one for my ‘16 Ape.

If I'm not mistaken, @kinger ordered everything right off Partzilla.

My budget can’t quite handle purchasing everything new right now, maybe down the road.

Partzilla shows it at just over $800 for the complete setup. Seems cheap for the shocks

That’s US, convert it to Canuckiztan money plus shipping/brokerage and things get out of hand quite quickly.

Japan prices on some items can be less than 1/2 of USA retail. The YRSS part needs to be quoted… but as an example, the base Apex front shock 8HG-2376A-00-00 retail is $783.99. It can be purchased for about $560 USA, or $306 Japan + Shipping and customs.
